“Chef Nick’s inspiration for this burger was actually a slice of pizza. The pie was topped with ricotta cheese, marinara, and dolloped with Calabrian chili paste. The sensory overload of creamy ricotta, the crunch of the crust, and the spice of chili collaborated into a flavor bomb that seemed like it could lend nicely to a burger experience. So that’s what we did! We’ve adding a griddled burger into the mix, house made Haymaker chili sauce, a zesty basil garlic sauce, and arugula that adds a note of fresh green spice!”
